Building a Connection through Books

Disty and I are heading back to Laos on June 17. We will be going to Bangkok for a few days, then on to Luang Prabang, then to Oudomxay—about 5 hours north by bus—then a half-hour tuk tuk ride to Ban Thiao, home of our teacher, Ajahn Bounxay. There, we will meet Ajahn, stay with his sister, and look for a site to build a small library. Much has happened over the last few years and through the next two months, I hope to update this blog with my posts and the posts of Ajahn, who will leave tomorrow from Wat Buddhabhavanna in Westford, Massachusetts, where he now lives, and return to his childhood home and temple for the first time in three years.
